If you are buying this system to support VLBI and it will be running the
FS, it will normally be sent to NASA GSFC for kernel and FS installation
and check-out. Please
check out the the shipping
arrangements and costs.
The Xeon E-22xxG CPUs have on-chip graphics with better
graphics performance but they limit the IPMI KVM functionality. The
Xeon E-22xx CPUs don't have on-chip graphics and will use the
graphics of the motherboard BMC.
So to fully support IPMI with KVM over network functionality, please
select one of the Xeon E-22xx CPUs. To have better graphics performance with limited
IPMI functionality, select one of the Xeon E-22xxG CPUs.
